wtf happened and how do i do it to...?

ok so that picture looks like i added some kind of vintage/retro effect to it but i didn't it just came out like that? and i don't have a special camera or anything i took it by mistake with a sony digital camera. I really like the coloring though how can I do this to my other photos?
There are three things that are wrong with this photo and I think it's causing that "retro" effect you're talking about:
1. White balance - the white balance is off. That coupled with an overcast or dimming sky gave you that yellowish cast. Set the WB to something warm (sunny, shadow, overcast, etc.) to reproduce the effect in the future. You may not get the exact same result but play around with the different WB presets.
2. Noise - high ISO (ISO 320 in the example) gives you a grainy image. Set the ISO to 400.
3. Focus - the camera was either out of focus or the shutter speed was not fast enough (1/50th of a second in the example). Instant cameras and older consumer point & shoot film cameras had no-focus or fixed focus lenses. Close subjects were often out of focus. The W50 has no focus control so you'll have to get creative here.
