question about apple laptops?

hi i live in modesto california and there is a apple store at the vintage faire mall
and i want to get a apple laptop because my windows xp operated desktop is getting annoying
so my question is are the laptops cheap???????? im looking for a price up to $800 dollars
and for those who own a apple computer are they reliable ans better than windows computers?????????

No, Apple laptops are not cheap. The cheapest is $999, but it will do everything you need for it to do. It is not a budget laptop by any stretch of the imagination.

You can get a refurbished MacBook at Apple online for $850. They have exactly the same warranty as any other Mac. So, that may be your best bet.

I switched from Windows to Mac 3 years ago, and I cannot imagine going back. I have nothing but great things to say about Macs. Take a look at some of my other answers to questions like this if you want some more info.
