I need a source for some old mine cut diamond chips... help please?
Vintage ring from 1900 with a few missing stones. Jewelers I've taken it to would only be able to replace these three missing little chips with modern style cut diamonds at extremely unreasonable prices! I got this ring at a pawn shop and someone's put a CZ in place of one missing stone and it looks terrible so I know I don't want to do this... the different kind of cut does not match and it looks a bit crap. I need a source or suggestion for getting just three tiny mine cut diamond chips (about .01 cts each) and have not had any sucess with net searches or ebay. Anyone? 10 pts
