how do i fix a split corner in a wooden table?
i have these Vintage End Tables. they are beautiful - the tops have red tiles and surrounding them is wood. i redid them around 4 years ago. sanded the wood, refinished it. regrouted the tiles. repainted the metal bases. now to my dismay one of the corners in the wood is splitting. im not sure how to describe it other than theres now a space where the two pieces should meet. how can i fix this? i tried with all my might to just push them back together but its not working. i dont even know how it happened as they have been stored for around 3 years. maybe from dampness? or pressure being on the wooden base? help! i love them and they really work as a pair. how can i get the corner to meet again?
You can use Gorilla Glue. Put some on both pieces of wood. Use clamps to hold it together for at least 24 hours.
