I bought this guitar. Is it a nice one?
I'm a beginner, keep that in mind. I'm just wanting to teach myself. Is this a decent guitar?

It's a very nice guitar! Epiphones are well made, sound great and cost a fraction of their pricey Gibson cousins. The necks are a little on the chunky side, which can make them challenging to play, but if you're starting out on an Epiphone, you'll have greater finger strength and dexterity than someone who started learning on a skinny-necked guitar. That means you'll be able to pick up and play any guitar, whereas some of us find certain brands impossible to play because we're accustomed to tiny little guitar necks.
Your new guitar should serve you well for decades, it's that well made. And the spruce top will only make it sound better with age. Congratulations and welcome to the wide, wide world of guitar players!
