Should I buy a moses basket or a cotbed? Which is better?
My husband and I can't decide between a moses basket or just buying a cotbed for when our twins are born. We are buying two of each so they are sleeping seperate. His sister swears by using a moses basket when they are new borns but I'm not sure

Hi I have twins they're 21mths now........
We bought 2 moses baskets and a cotbed to start with.....
After about 2wks they ended up sleeping in the moses baskets in the living room during the day.......
And sharing the cotbed in the bedroom at night.......
When they got to about 6mths old we bought another cotbed so they each had their own space....
But we have them next to each other in the middle so they can se each other.....
Most nights they spend ages just jumping in to each others cots, and when I go and check on them they're usually sleeping in the same cot.......very cute, they just like being together! lol
My advice, if your going to have your twins in the living room with you during the days, then buy moses baskets to keep in there, however if your buying a pram with carrycots you can use them instead of moses baskets........I had the firstwheels twin, and in retrospect the moses baskets were a waste of money because I could have used the carrycots......
As for cotbeds, regardless of whether you get moses baskets or not you will only need 1 cotbed for at least the first few months..........
Not sure if you've got a pram or not, but the icandy pear is the best twin pram going........and so far I'm on my 4th twin pram so this I definately know! lol
