Where the heck can I find a NUKBW278 typewriter ribbon?

I need a NUKBW278 ribbon for my Vintage Smith Corona Typewriter. After hours of searching online I found that shoplet.com had them, but after odering it they informed me that they actually DON'T carry that ribbon anymore!! Ahhh, where the hell can I find one?! Amazon.com has a couple but the shipping is $30-50. WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help.

OK can someone explain to me what a typerwritter ribbon is or a type writter?? isn't that what old people use to use before computers?
